Target acne, spots and oily skin with these cleansers, serums, treatments and more in Singapore
Understand the causes of acne and treatments to treat
I kept my faith throughout the process, trusting that IDS had the expertise and experience to bring me closer to my ideal BBF state.
I am finally back to do a review on my 3rd visit that I went almost 3 weeks back at IDS
I made my second visit to IDS for doctor review and a pampering facial that I am in need of. With the heatiness that has accumulating in my body due to having too much Chinese New Year cookies, it resulted in skin breakouts recently.
I was invited to try out the Skincare products and I am going to be sharing my first experience with them.
If you’ve had acne at any point in your life before, you’d know that it can feel like an uphill battle at times. In between finding out what’s causing it (get it together, hormones!) and dropping a significant chunk of money on acne treatments and products, those persistent, pulsating pimples can be a real pain to deal with.
But here’s the thing: ask any beauty industry insider and they’d tell you that one of the most effective ways to deal with a breakout is to see a dermatologist. Unfortunately, that isn’t always the option available to everyone.
Enter KYLAZ, a new skincare brand from the doctors behind IDS Aesthetics and IDS Skincare. The three products in its lineup represent the brand’s clinical approach to treating acne: correct the offending spots, protect skin from further infection, and prevent recurring acne by improving the skin’s immunity. And according to the brand’s testimonies, you can see your skin clearing up within two weeks.
“That’s the general rule of thumb—you should be seeing results from the products that you’re using within two weeks. If not, you should see a doctor,” says Dr SK Tan, the founder of IDS.
KYLAZ’s clinical approach means that their formulas are packed with active ingredients that target specific issues caused by acne. Dr Tan emphasises that despite the high cost of the ingredients, he wants KYLAZ to remain affordable so that it’s accessible for those who suffer from acne. Products in this line range from $18 to $21, and is only available directly on their site.
Pimples are pesky. We already know that. And it’s always an uphill challenge to fight it, particularly when the options out there can be too expensive (visiting a dermatologist), may not work (as people build up resistance against antibiotics), or irritating to skin (effective ingredients like Tretinoin and Benzoyl Peroxide irritate the skin for some people).
Kylaz, a new skincare brand developed by the makers of IDS Aesthetics and IDS Skincare, has introduced an acne-fighting approach that may just be a solution that overcome these challenges.
